VIRTUAL OFFICE VISITS
Thank you for choosing St. Cloud Medical Group. Virtual Office Visits allow you to contact your doctor by sending a secure message from our patient portal.
HOW IT WORKS
You can request a Virtual Office Visit by selecting Virtual Office Visit on the right side of this page and logging into your patient portal account. If you do not have a patient portal account set up, you will need to create one. Once you have logged in and selected “Virtual Office Visit” from your homepage, you will be prompted to select your physician, enter your symptoms, and answer a series of questions related to your concern. Your message will be sent to your physician who will review the information you have submitted and respond within 1 business day (Monday-Friday.) Please note that this option is not appropriate for all concerns and does not replace your need to maintain face-to-face contact with your primary physician on a regular basis.
**Not all physicians conduct e-visits. If your physician is not listed, you are able to choose another provider from that specialty to “see” for acute needs.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
Virtual Office Visits are appropriate for established patients regarding:
- Non-urgent medical conditions/Acute conditions such as sinusitis
WHAT YOU CANNOT DO
Virtual Office Visits are not appropriate for:
- Patients who have not established primary care with St. Cloud Medical Group
- Patients under two years of age
- Emergency or life-threatening situations
- Conditions requiring a high visual component
COST
Coverage for Virtual Office Visits will vary by insurer and by plan. St. Cloud Medical Group will submit charges to your insurance whenever possible and your regular co-pay will apply. For all patients that do not have insurance coverage for their visit, there will be a $45 fee per Virtual Office Visit.
